Jeremiah 35:15 NIV

[15] "Each of you must turn from your wicked ways and reform your actions; do not follow other gods to serve them. Then you will live in the land I have given to you and your ancestors." 

God is telling us to be disciplined through faith and turn away from the evil things we turn to. Sometimes we are tempted into doing wrong and evil, but through God and our faith we can overcome this temptation and end up doing what is right. When we do something wrong, we need to reform or change what we've done so that next time we don't make the same mistake. So when you do this you will be successful.

I will apply this to my life by trying my best to make good decisions. Almost everywhere I go, we are tempted to do the wrong thing and it is our decision and our values which chooses which path we take. If our mind and faith is weak we will take the wrong path leading up to bad things, but if our faith is tough and built on a strong foundation,

we can make the right decisions resulting in good.

Dear God,

Please give me the right mindset to make the right decisions when I am tempted to do evil and wrong. Please give me discipline and courage to stand up to what I think or know is not right. Thank you for bringing me here, because I know I am not here by accident, but here with a purpose to make a change in this community. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
